VitrX Charity Golf Day Raises £5,000 for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service

At VitrX, giving back to the community is part of who we are. Last week, we were proud to host our annual Charity Golf Day in support of the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service. This remarkable organisation provides specialist care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Held at the picturesque Beaconsfield Golf Club, the event brought together clients, partners and colleagues for a brilliant day of golf, connection and purpose. From start to finish, the atmosphere was full of generosity and good-spirited competition. Thanks to everyone’s support, we’re delighted to share that £5,000 was raised to support Alexander Devine’s vital work.

Supporting a worthy cause

Alexander Devine is an independent charity that delivers specialist palliative care to children across Berkshire and the surrounding counties. Their team supports families both at home and at their dedicated hospice facility, providing medical care, emotional support, respite and comfort when it’s needed most. It was a privilege to dedicate our Golf Day to their continued work.

A brilliant day of golf and giving

The success of the event was made possible by the many people and organisations who gave their time, energy and support:

  • Jess Hatchett and Laura Nott from Alexander Devine, whose presence helped bring the charity’s work to life
  • Joe Betts and Darren Watts from DICOTA for sponsoring the event and providing premium backpacks for our guests
  • The fantastic team at Beaconsfield Golf Club, with a special thank you to Stuart, Elaine, Chris, Tom, Carl, James, Andy and all supporting staff, for their outstanding hospitality
  • Richard Healey from BiteTheHand Creative for capturing the day with fantastic photography that showed the spirit of the event

Looking ahead

Events like this remind us how powerful it is when people come together for a good cause. We’re incredibly proud to support Alexander Devine and look forward to continuing our social impact efforts in the future.

Below, we’ve shared a small selection of highlights from the day.
